O akci
prg.ai and the Central Bohemian Innovation Centre in partnership with the Amazon Web Services Research & Education team, would like to invite you to the 2nd Prague’s International Researchers meetup titled “Take your research into the cloud”.
Besides bringing academics from across various institutions and scientific fields together so they can exchange information and experience and make new professional and personal connections, our goal is to shed light on how Amazon Web Services can support your research and also to provide information about two postdoctoral programmes focused on attracting international researchers to the Czech Republic.

18:00 Welcome by the organisers, introduction of postdoctoral programmes MERIT and P4F
18:30 AWS presentation by Roberta Piscitelli
Find out how international universities use the Amazon Web Services (AWS) to support their research. You will see how cloud can accelerate research and innovation towards Open Science. Key services and solutions for the entire research process and relevant use cases will be presented.
Roberta is responsible for the EMEA Research business development at AWS Public Sector. Roberta has a background in the information technology and services industry with international institutions including the European Space Agency and the European Commission. Roberta holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science on Optimization models for embedded systems design from University of Amsterdam and she completed an MBA at Rotterdam School of Management with focus on Strategy, business negotiations and marketing.
