Smart cities are not just a concept or a dream of the future. It is a sector that is very dynamic and vibrant and has seen impressive growth and increasing offers of promising employability prospects over the last years.

The DevOps Competences for Smart Cities MOOC (Smart DevOps MOOC) was developed to take on this challenge and offer a high-quality educational course that enables the participants to develop and acquire essential competencies needed to tackle the challenges of managing and evolving of smart cities.

About Smart DevOps MOOC

The MOOC was developed in the framework of Erasmus+ Sector Skills Alliance KA2 project titled “DevOps competences for Smart Cities” that aims to close the gap between today’s and future’s skills demands of the municipal workforce by emphasizing on the exploitation of emerging employment paradigms such as DevOps. Project consortium identified 3 job profiles for Smart Cities DevOps professionals (Smart City Planner, ΙΤ Manager and IT Officer) and developed a VET curriculum that combines digital and transferable skills to train future Smart City DevOps professionals. The curriculum is implemented by the MOOC, face-to-face training and work-based experience. Learn more here.
